The challenge was to design a fair stand that fits in 5 x 4 meters space while creating enough separated surfaces for presentation of 10 different wall panel types. It was important to enable the visitors to focus on one type at the time and avoid creating a visual chaos. The design form connects with the shape of the company’s most popular hexagonally shaped wall panel type . With a series of radially positioned walls the stand creates a fun combination of enclosed and open spaces, providing surfaces for the backlit panel presentation as well as the ceiling application, and some necessary storage space. The stand is accessible from all sides, inviting people to explore and get familiar with the products. Without blocking the circulation and allowing visitors to choose their own path, seen from a side the stand creates an interesting effect of randomly appearing people as if they are coming through a “portal”.
The stand was part of CONSTRUMA 2019 – International Building Trade Exhibition, the top event in the Central-Eastern European region for the construction industry, building engineering, interior design and furniture industry, held at HUNGEXPO Budapest Congress and Exhibition Center.
