With only 40m² of available space, it was a challenge to fit the bulky kitchen equipment and display units requested by the client, along with some inside seating for the customers. Organizing the space required joining an orthogonal refrigerating unit with a curved lined ice cream display. Using MDF, a mask was added with stripes resembling layers of a cake. These running lines merge the two units perfectly and form a compact counter, which became the main feature of the whole interior. Suspended ceiling was designed using the same motif. Cherry-inspired lighting and patterning complete the interior design.
